It doesn’t mean that you failed, or went wrong somewhere along your way.
It simply means that you value yourself enough, to want the very best in life.
To want to feel those endorphins.
To want to experience that peace of mind.
To want to embrace being happy in your own skin.
It’s okay to want to be a better version of yourself…
As long as you remember you are already enough.
That you are already loveable.
That you are already perfect in someone’s admiring eyes.
And that most importantly of all, perfection doesn’t actually exist.
It’s really okay, to want to be a better version of yourself….
But whatever you do, don’t bully or scold the little girl who lives inside of you.
She hasn’t done anything wrong.
She’s trying her very best to please everyone.
Give her a hug and don’t berate her when she slips up.
She needs you on her side, if you are to achieve the things you deserve in this world.
It’s okay to want to be a better version of yourself, my friend.
But it’s also okay to simply exist as you are, sometimes.
To believe that you have time – to be patient, to be still.
The only person judging you so harshly in this life, is you.
