Do not go to my grave and stare.
You need to know, I am not there.
I did not lay down in the ground.
I did not leave, I’m still around.
I’m in your heart and in your mind.
I am the feathers that you find.
I’m listening to your silent tears.
I’m trying to comfort all your fears.
At night I lay beside your bed.
I pour my blessings on your head.
And when you scream my name in vain.
I answer you, I feel the same.
You need to know, I didn’t leave.
I never will, you need not grieve.
I Did Not Lay Down In The Ground
