Ask anyone who has ever lost someone they love and they will tell you…
That perfection and happiness are world’s apart. They are not connected, at all.
That a moment spent with someone you love, no matter how imperfect, no matter how messy or ugly or awkward the circumstances – is worth a hundred moments of ‘perfection’ spent alone.
It sometimes, sadly, takes a loss to bring this home.
That a life filled with beautiful possessions, amazing holidays, glamorous events and achievements after achievement, mean literally NOTHING, unless you are spending it with the people who matter.
That the sad times, the bad times and the arguments don’t linger, but the smiles do.
And the sound of their laughter.
That a smile can hide an awful lot and a camera can lie.
It really can.
And it often does.
Ask anyone who has ever lost someone they love and they will tell you that moments are what really matter.
People are what really matter.
Everything else can be replaced.
