SOMETIMES, BEING SELFISH, IS THE LEAST SELFISH THING YOU CAN DO
Because sometimes, being selfish, actually isn’t selfish at all.
Sometimes, being selfish, is actually self-preservation in disguise.
And that’s okay.
In fact, that’s actually pretty commendable behaviour.
Because self-preservation is a very useful life-skill.
You see, we live in a time, where we understand the human emotions so much better ; we totally get, that saying yes and over-stretching can lead to a bumpy, slippery slope. It can lead to a place where we no longer see the wood for the trees. A scary situation in which we simply cannot keep all the plates spinning simultaneously anymore.
And who needs that, right?
Spinning plates is what us women do best!
If we let our intuition guide us, we know exactly how may plates we can spin at any one time. Even one extra plate, at the wrong moment, could bring the whole show toppling down.
It just isn’t worth it.
So, the next time you are tempted to say no – but that little guilty voice says you’re duty-bound to say yes… squash it.
That little voice was put there by societal demands and it’s been drowning out your intuition lately.
Time to listen more closely to the voice that’s on your side, my friends…
Ladies, Pass It On.
