Be very careful, that while you’re moulding and shaping your child so that they may conform, so they can follow rules, so that they can fit in, that you don’t remove the characteristics which will serve them the most when they are fully grown.
You see, it’s the feistiness, the free-thinking, the imagination and the boundless energy that will help those little people become humans who have an impact on the planet.
Don’t shave away all the attributes they need to survive and to flourish in a busy and sometimes corrupt world.
I pray you don’t smooth away all the rough edges, that you leave some. For it might just be that one little trait, which may be causing them trouble now, that will become their superpower.

I always say that the kids who are the hardest work in childhood, are the ones to watch out for in this life.
We are not robots awaiting a space on a treadmill. We are amazing bundles of humanity with a hell of a lot to share.
