THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A ‘GROWN UP’

Advertisements

THERE ARE ONLY MILLIONS AND MILLIONS OF ‘ADULT’ PEOPLE, WONDERING BLINDLY, IN THE DARK OF THE NIGHT, HOW ON EARTH THEY GOT HERE…

Where did the years go?

How do I go on tomorrow?

Who has all the answers?

What is the right thing to do?

How can I keep on shouldering such loads?

No matter how stern or calm the ‘adult’ demeanour, there is a little child within us all; confused, panicking, laughing when they really shouldn’t, wondering who is in charge, wishing they could just get off the train and go and play for the day…

Looking around for an adult and then realising it is them.

There is no such thing as a grown up

Let’s face it, being a grown-up is actually pretty unachievable. For we are always changing, always learning, always ‘growing’, always aiming ‘up’.

Even when you think you know it all and you have finally got there, life will throw you a curve-ball and remind you, you are not in control.

You must go with the flow. It’s the only way.

You know what they say, ‘never grow up, it’s a trap’.

Keep that little child-like part of you alive as long as you can. Life is sweeter that way, not to mention easier and much, much, more fun.
And why shouldn’t it be?
You only get one life.
Just one.

The trick, my friends, is to die as young as possible, as late as you can.

So, maybe don’t beat yourself up when you get the giggles or you take the day off, or you make the wrong choice or you mess up, again.

Tomorrow is a new day and another chance to keep ‘growing up’.

We will all get there one day, for now, enjoy the ride.

Ladies, Pass It On..
