You get just one shot…
Let’s look at a timeline of your life.
You’re born, you move into the teenage years and then, around 18/20, you start to work.
You work decade after decade until you retire, say around 65?
So that basically means you are working for the majority of your entire life.
Which is why it is so extremely important that we spend that time doing something we enjoy.
Where we go after we die, that’s up for debate, and we all have different opinions on that.
But we know for a fact that we have this life, this one shot.
This one opportunity to live on earth, to experience all it has to offer and to leave our stories for the people who love us to tell.
Do not waste it doing something that drains you.
Do not live in a ‘waiting for Friday’ cycle of monotony.
Do not throw your shot away, conforming to the grind.
You get just one shot, but in that time you can do a million things, turn a million corners, change a million directions and create a million opportunities.
You can fill your time with all things meaningful and full of purpose, or you can put your head down and survive till it’s time to retire.
It’s your choice.
Time waits for no one.
