Happiness, it’s something that we all want – yes?

Many of us believe that if we were fitter, wealthier, more-loved, more successful, we would be better able to feel the elusive happiness we all so desperately crave.

But the reality is, in fact, the opposite.

It is only when we drop the pursuit of all of the above, and more, that happiness can really come in.

How to be happier/ happiness

Let me explain…

✔️To really live a happy life, priority has to be taken off all of the ‘false idols’ society tells us to want.

✔️Ambition is a tough one in this respect, you see, ambition is a wonderful thing but if can be happiness inhibitor since the onus is put on ‘when I get where I want to be.’

✔️Focus has to be put on simply ‘feeling’ happiness in every moment. It’s possible, even when your Monday morning coffee spills on your latest bank statement which reads a big hefty negative. You can still choose to breathe and feel happiness.

✔️There is ALWAYS a choice to let happiness into every moment. Feeling grateful, laughing at a random facebook video or smiling at a stranger are all great ways top kick that process off.

Bottom line ladies?

Happiness is not a mysterious, fleeting emotion.

It’s a choice.

Make it.
