5 THINGS YOU CAN DO TO CHANGE THE WORLD

Contrary to what many believe – change comes via a million teeny- tiny interactions, rather than a monumental shift from those in power.
We can all do our bit to turn tides and shape a better future for our children…

1. ACCEPT
Regardless of what you were brought up to believe, a more peaceful and loving world will only come about when we can all accept each other’s life choices, without prejudice or judgement. Providing a person is doing no harm it is entirely their right to live how they chose, worship how they please and to love who they want. Lead the way and set an example.

2. EMBRACE
Acceptance is one thing but if you can reach that little bit further and embrace all walks of humanity that should cross your path – the effects of that will spread like wildfire. Every time a person touches another person emotionally, that tiny little gesture creates a cause and effect scenario which then touches many, many more people in turn. It is like a Mexican Wave of positivity.

3. GIVE
No matter how tight your own finances are at the time, always give when life calls upon you to do so. It doesn’t matter how much you give – or whether it is your time that you give and not money, as long as you give. It is easy to turn a blind eye to someone in need but oh so very worthwhile – on a huge scale – to do the opposite. Be the one who does and many more will follow your lead.

4. SEE
Following on from the above, stop switching off when images of suffering come on your screen. We must all open our eyes and really see how the world is, and how fortunate our position is too. It is very hard to look, I know, but use the emotions of sadness you feel, to do something useful. Log on and donate, log on and read more to see how you can help in some tiny way. If we all did that – the effect would be enormous.

5. TALK
Following on from above – share the news about how you helped, it will encourage others to do it too. Ditch the small talk every now and then and get to the big stuff – the real stuff. If we all share our feelings on life, living and the world in general – imagine the impact! Talk about how you make sure you accept, embrace, give and see, and you will be surprised how many others will start to do the same…little by little, bit by tiny bit, the changes will occur. We all have a voice. Use it.

Collectively we are so very, very powerful. It is happening every minute of every day, make sure you are onboard.
